I’ve had an idea for this tablescape since my father and stepmother gifted me this set of vintage plates and mugs with fruits on them last year. It didn’t turn out quite as I had expected since the colors in the plates were so muted compared to the jewel tones of the fruits, so I added my favorite set of cherry red dishes and glasses to balance the scene and add some depth underneath the pastel plates. I love that this feels like a crossover between summer and autumn with the Tuscan-esque pottery dishes mixed with the deep colors of autumn and summery bamboo silverware. Vintage makers along with sources for both vintage and new pieces to recreate this look are listed at the end of this post.
