Lacy daffodils and a little cream collection - mostly from friends and family. Happy Thursday!
April snow showers look so strange against the new buds and blooms. We are happy it didn’t stick! ❄️🌼
Another kitchen progress shot - we added this shelf above the sink today. This will hold our everyday dishes and glasses, and some pretty pieces of art and dishware, too. I will paint it the same color as the wall - now I can’t wait to pick sconces! #danascarakitchen
Kitchen details. 🧺 #danascarakitchen
I’m really getting the hang of this whole building shelves and sliding drawers thing! I built this drawer for the blue cupboard and the two top shelves for the pantry area today. The blue cupboard will be snack storage for the kids - right at their level so they can help themselves. #ibuiltthis #danascarakitchen #diyprojects #kitchenrenovation #diyrenovation
We are loving this warm weather! The boys played outside yesterday and today while I cleaned up the front corner of our property. Last year we didn’t get to it before all the vines and thorny bushes grew, but this corner was rough! Fallen down fencing and huge tree limbs from the dead tree nearby (which has to be taken down this year), years and years of leaves and branches and dead grasses, huge landscaping rocks and a pile of debris from the yard that got pushed over there when we hired someone to use a brush hog on the field that was this half of the yard two summers ago. Plus thick grapevines wound through all of that and into all the nearby trees. Six hours of work and it might not look beautiful but it’s cleaned up! Check out the last two pictures for some of the rocks and branches and vines that were in there. 😧
