Steve’s criteria for bringing home flowers for me: “I know you like the fluffy ones.” He’s not wrong! Chrysanthemums remind me of Anne of Green Gables - do you know which scene I mean?
The pool area fence is slowly but surely getting its glow up! Finials in transit. #slowrenovation #oldhouse #diyrenovation #beforeandafter
Haul from my birthday thrift and antiques trip! Who else loves a whole day of solo secondhand shopping?
Have you ever fluffed a bouquet of roses like this? It creates a totally different look. I love doing it with grocery store rose bouquets that are past their prime, because the inside petals are usually still beautiful.
Celebrating progress! This section of fence behind our pool is painted, the weeds have been taken out, and I removed dirt and rocks in front of the fence so I can continue the pea gravel around the edge. Getting the landscaping here under control is a long process but I love the neatness when it’s done!
I’m still working on painting the fence over here! It’s drinking this solid color stain - this is either my 3rd or 4th can, I’ve lost count. Today I finished the small fence on either side of the gate and the gate itself. More tomorrow. 🙌🏻
