Summer Tabletop Inspiration: Colorful Glass

Most of you know I love thrifting dishes and serveware for entertaining, and in the past couple years I’ve been more drawn to crystal and glassware than ever before — it feels light and fresh and adds transparency and sparkle to more traditional rooms, which can sometimes be lacking. This summer, I’m especially loving colorful glassware — if I’m faced with drinking my champagne out of a clear glass flute or a pale pink depressionware glass you know which one I’m going to pick every time. The richer hues like cobalt and cranberry look like sparkling jewels on an outdoor table in the evening. The pale hues add a lightness and casual feel to simple summer meals.

These pieces are easy to find secondhand, but if you need a certain number for a party, luckily retailers are hopping on the trend and producing new pieces as well. Here are some that caught my eye:
