G is just 10 months old last week, and he started swim lessons this week! It’s so weird that it feels like he was just born, but also like we’ve had him forever. But I’ll stop being a sappy momma and get on to the real issue here: I was less than enthused about having to be in a bathing suit in the middle of April. Interestingly, the class has a rule that all women must wear one-pieces or tankinis. I haven’t worn a one-piece since I was twelve probably, but I’ve been wanting to try one out for a few years now, so this gave me the perfect excuse and made me feel much less worried that my six pack abs are still in hibernation (since forever? hah!). I found that I definitely gravitate toward the most simple black swimsuits and anything with retro details. Here are a few I loved during my search! (I ended up choosing one similar to the black Anthropologie maillot with white polka dots, and I love it!)
