On anything from walls, to curtains, to small accents, yellow is certainly a striking color, and it definitely evokes strong responses in people! I think yellow gets a bad rap in sometimes because it can be disastrous when done wrong. As clothing, it can be the least complimentary shade, and on walls, it can be watery and bland or blinding and unbearable. But done right, whether it’s mustard yellow, goldenrod, butter yellow, citron, or the happiest sunny yellow, it can completely lift the mood of a room or outfit. And, it looks stunning with so many colors. With black and white it is refined, with blue it is preppy, with green it is sunny and happy, with purple or red it is regal, with bright pink it is bold and exciting, with mixed neutrals it is elegant. Look at all these beautiful ways that yellow is done right and BE INSPIRED!

I love yellow, it is my favorite color! My living room is yellow, but it needs to be re-painted and I can’t decide if I’m going to stay with yellow or do something different!
I didn’t know you loved yellow! I didn’t always love it, but I love it now. It’s so happy! I’m thinking of putting yellow curtains in our living room. Are you sick of the yellow now, or you just want something different?
I’m just not sure if I should try a different color, but reading this post makes me think I should stay with what I love! Although I love yellow, I never wear it! I think I need to reconsider that too!!
I just love yellow and blue together..different shades of yellow with different shades of blues. Most of my rooms are some sort of yellow..some accented with blue, green or orange. I also love Teal Blue..love the green it Teal. I would like to paint an accent wall in my kitchen sometime. Maybe you could give me some suggestions!
