The Perfect Gift Guide

I wanted to put together a wishlist filled with things that I love, and that I think any woman you have to buy for this Christmas would be thankful to receive. Happy December 1st!

hunter-boots

Hunter Original Tall Black Boots – No other rain boot looks as crisp and classic as these. I have a pair of Tom Joules floral rain boots that are coming to the end of their life. Someday I’ll replace them with these.

everlane-modern-loafer

Everlane Modern Loafer – I have been keeping a lookout for the perfect loafers for over a year. Not too pointy, not too rounded, stacked heel, high quality leather, and a modern shape (not a penny loafer). These loafers are the fairest of them all. Considering the price and the perfection, you might be too afraid to wear them, but they would go with everything in this gorgeous caramel.

onitsuka-tiger

Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 – Maybe it’s because I love the Kill Bill movies, but these are a true classic in my eyes. I’m just old enough to remember the tail end of their trendiness. The red, white and blue version are by far my favorite – you get the crispness of a white shoe with a little Americana thrown in there.

wrap-coat

T. Tahari Wrap Coat – Want to wear a blanket but still look pulled together and feminine. This wrap coat is where it’s at. The super dramatic collar is perfection and looks so warm and cozy – like a built-in scarf!

Regent blazer.jpg

J.Crew Regent Blazer – I don’t own one, but I have decided this is the perfect blazer. It looks great however it is styled, and I love that it is slightly longer yet still fitted without the bulk of the usual collar.

gap-coat

Gap Long Down Puffer Coat – If you live in upstate New York, you need a down puffer coat. I love that this one is elevated from the utilitarian with the shiny/matte “colorblocking” effect.

calvin-trench

Calvin Klein Water Resistant Trench Coat – The trench coat is the perfect solution for all the in-between weather in the spring and fall. Nothing can make you look instantly put together like a classic tan trench coat. Mine ripped badly at one of the belt loops this spring – this one looks like a quality replacement I might just invest in this year!
