On our last days in Greece, we alternated between walking around in the shopping district of Parikia and going to the beach. We ate lunches of delicious fresh fruit on the beach. The huge peaches available at all the little supermarkets were amazing. G and I shared at least one every day. By far the best restaurant we went to was Dionysos Restaurant in Parikia. Every part of our meal was delicious and the sweet woman who owns it was so chic and friendly and attentive. We loved it there, and my husband’s siblings went back two nights in a row (my husband and I tried out a nearby creperie that was also delicious).
Our attempt at getting a group photo. My eyes are clearly closed, but I still kind of like it. G’s expression is priceless. And yes, we all purposely dressed in blue and white to coordinate. #wearethosepeople
The cat pack that lived outside out hotel. G learned to say “cat” pretty quickly on this trip.
A family selfie on the veranda.
G exploring outside our hotel.
We also made sure to visit the Panagia Ekatontapiliani, or Church of a Hundred Doors, in Parikia, near the shopping district.
And then it was on to more exploring and lounging on the beach.
G loved playing on the beach so much. And he seemed to get past his sand eating stage during the trip, which made me VERY happy. What is it with babies eating sand? You’d think one time would be enough to convince them it’s a bad idea! Despite that, there is nothing cuter than a baby on the beach, am I right?
Love these family pictures on the veranda. Huge heart eyes for these two guys.
Look at that amazing marble!

G at the airport, happy to be going home!
